The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) would like to start a NSBE Jr chapter at Transit Technical High School. The organization is open to all students and it was created to support future black engineers. So what does this mean to you? NSBE gives your children an opportunity to experience firsthand how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) relate to the world around them. They are also exposed to what it takes to have a successful college career. What does a NSBE Jr chapter mean to your child? Along with learning about STEM, they get to learn about themselves by becoming leaders, volunteering, and building on their academics along with the help of fellow NSBE collegiate chapters. The society’s mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
ATTENTION all parents, students and staff. NSBE will be presenting and recruiting at our next PTA Meeting on December 17th, 2015. Members of NSBE will answer all questions and discuss their mission and goals with Transit Tech CTE High School.
