College & Career Readiness

Whether a student is interested in entering the workforce immediately, pursuing a higher education or to become an entrepreneur, we help create individual career plans to assist in the planning process. The office sponsors field trips based on student interest.

We have sent students to the United States Military Academy at West Point, Monroe College, Dickinson College, Connecticut College, the United States Coast Guard Academy, University of Connecticut (UConn), SUNY Maritime, SUNY Albany, Howard, Morgan State and Delaware State Universities.  We had many colleges and universities visit our school as well.  We had city agencies visit us as well, such as FDNY, and the NYPD.

We will continue to offer opportunities like the ones below to expose our students in this regard.
